Are you sure that's him in BitW? --Buddy 18:48, 6 January 2007 (PST)
H. G.
I know that the H. G. in H. G. Blob stands for Horrible Gelatinous, but I was thinking that it could be a tribute to H. G. Wells, the author of The War of the Worlds. Does anybody share my opinion? Ketchuphed
- What other than the name would be a reference? Cause other than that, it is quite an obscure reference and may just be a coincidence. Besides, his name is never spoken out as "H. G. Blob" on the show, so the joke wouldn't really exist. So I am very sceptical about the reference, and I just think it is a coincidence. If it was a reference, they would have made more out of it for sure. --SvipTalk 17:38, 12 May 2008 (PDT)
- Interesting if true. There was mention of Wells in a commentary I believe, but I'm fairly sure it was in reference to time travel or robots. "H. G. Blob" did appear written on either a package and/or a name plaque on his desk in the PE advert. - Quolnok 19:32, 12 May 2008 (PDT)
Species, rather than a character?
Is it possible that the Horrible Gelatinous Blob may in fact be a species rather than a single character? --Ben Paddon 13:22, 12 June 2008 (PDT)
